On the road again...

First proper ride since my 12 punctures. Six hours in the saddle.

This last road was incredible; forest on both sides winding slowly up and then quickly down some big hills. On the way up a car couldn't get past me so I pulled over to let it pass. 20 minutes later I caught up with it on the other side and he pulled over to let ME past! I was giving it some on the downhill - sweet like a nut.
On the way back I decided to meet up with my friends in an onsen (public baths) so headed a different way home. Was about 4 km away when I rode through a set of lights and felt my back tire go, huge slash in the tire - nuts. Got them to come and pick me up. But left my bike lock with my keys in it outside the convenience store... only realised when we arrived home. Cue an hour drive back to find it. Luckily someone had handed it in and they just grinned when I walked in.
Next day I headed to an ikebana (flower arranging) exhibition.

This was my favourite, they had a childrens' section and after the overblown it was simply delightful.

Guess I'm back on the whale tomorrow... the bike shop was closed.

I like the Miffy transfers. I have a Miffy calendar in my room that my mum bought me - she thinks it's funny as Miffy goes to sleep (or something like that) was one of my first books.
