The PEPY Friends School

Went up to the PEPY Friends School in Stung Treng with the PEPY team this week. Ten hours on the bus and two books later we arrived.
We were visiting for the Opening Ceremony of the new school term and to present bicycles to all the kids enrolled in PEPY's Bike to School programme.
It was great to spend some time with the kids that PEPY works for. I loved my time at the PEPY Ride School when I visited in spring and I loved messing around with the kids at the Friends School too! I hadn't realised how much I missed playing with my kids in Japan.... ahhhh

The 'design' part of the job! I knew if I waited long enough, my three years of art school would allow me to paint lightning on bicycles. LIVE THE DREAM!

More Pchum Bun

It was a good job I brought three jerseys with me.

I've never been smiled at so much in my life. Every time we cycled past homes dotted along the sides of the road deep in the countryside, children would run out from the shade and scream 'Hello!' 'Hellowhatyourname?'. Every time.

Pchum Bun

Five day public holiday. Marvellous. Beating the French. Priceless.
