Amigos en ausencia

It's now been almost two months since I returned. Time flies. But friends fly too; and that's why I get to see so many of them! Here's hoping it's not so long til I see 'em again.

Lost Words (dawn in the tropics)

At the end of my trip in an internet cafe I left behind my notebook. Left next to a computer in a roadside cafe for a bus that was 30 minutes late. I didn't notice til the end of the seven hour bus ride. A year and half's worth of words.




I was a little upset that I'd lost the ideas I'd written down from the trip, the three weeks of observations and comments on Mexico and life in a Latin-American country, but I don't know how much I'll miss the previous eighteen months.




Only words... maybe I'll write some more.
